the nebula of georgia
A dramedy written by one of our own, this story of a family in Georgia is chock full of southernisms and great characters. When a wayward daughter comes home for a funeral, her chilly reception by her family has nothing to do with the sweltering house and everything to do with the family secret that comes to light.
NO VIDEO OR PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED DURING THE PERFORMANCE.

Cast
Meg Peltier as Aunt Bonnie Ann
Meg was last seen on the Pensacola Little Theatre stage as Cookie Cusack in Neil Simon's Rumors, also directed by Joe Nierle. She is thrilled to be in an original play written and directed by him that takes place in her home state of Georgia; GO DAWGS! Meg's acting career spans over 40 years, including theatre, tv, film, radio, commercials, and voiceovers, as well as being an acting teacher and coach. She loves acting and feels lucky to work with a talented cast and PLT team.
Maureen McNeill as Arrabelle
Maureen is a proud Seminole with a Bachelor's degree in theatre from Florida State University. She was most recently seen in the ensemble of Pensacola's Opera's Carousel. Maureen frequently directs in the Studio 400 series. Her last production, Red, won the Studio 400 People's Choice Award in 2022.
Andrew Frisbe as Lyndal
Andrew is excited to be making his stage debut at Pensacola Litte Theatre. His favorite role he has played in the past was Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors 20 years ago.
Jessica Ingham as Jamie
After decades of focusing on other ventures, Jessica is thrilled to return to the theatre. She grew up performing in theatre in San Diego with notable roles as Brooke Ashton in Noises Off!, Claire Gans in Rumors, and Mary Warren in The Crucible. She is grateful to be warmly welcomed in by the extraordinary talent at PLT.
Jason Lewing as Wainwright
Recently seen in The Feast and The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Jason is excited to return to the stage to participate in this excellent ensemble cast. He was trained at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington, and before that at the now-dark Loblolly Theatre under the tutelage of Yolanda Reed and Patricia Simmons.
Bradley Barber as Victor Ellen
Bradley is thrilled to be back working with the friendly folks at PLT, where he caught the "theatre bug" during Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jr. While he loves singing and dancing to anything funky, he may just like the craft of play better, "I like trying to tap into a person that I am not. The Whole experience is awesome!"
Sandra Neely Knechtel as The Lady
At Pensacola Little Theatre, Sandi has volunteered for over 40 years in many positions, including making costumes, acting on stage, working backstage, or through the PLT Guild. Her favorite role was Sabine in The Most Massive Woman Wins.
About THE DIRECTOR
Joe has a Master's Degree from Penn State University and has directed and acted in professional, community, and educational theatre. He most recently directed Niel Simon's Rumors and was last seen on stage in The Lieutenant of Inishmore. The Nebula of Georgia has been produced five times in various theatres, and he appreciates the opportunity to present it at Pensacola Little Theatre.
